Marthe Henry makes wines with the kind of quiet conviction that cannot be imitated. Based in Meursault, in the old family cellar of her grandparents, she returned to wine after a first life in journalism, guided by memory, instinct and a deep attachment to place.

Her approach is stripped back and precise: natural fermentations, no cosmetic winemaking, long ageing and an almost tactile attention to each parcel. The result is a range of wines that feel luminous rather than loud — Burgundies of texture, purity and emotional depth.

Marthe belongs to that generation of vignerons proving that sensitivity can be as exacting as technique — and every bottle makes that point beautifully.
