Ferdinando Principiano emerges as a vintner of authenticity, passion, and audacity, deeply enamored with his native soil, the Langhe. He assumed control of the family winery in 1993, brimming with enthusiasm and freshly armed with an oenology diploma, ready to make his mark on the international stage. However, in a pivotal shift in 2003, he embraced a production philosophy grounded in purity and tradition. In a radical transformation sells the barriques, opts for large oak barrels from Slavonia, eliminates all synthetic products, and abandons the use of sulfur dioxide.
Since then the production of Principiano's winery stands out for its proudly artisanal temperament and a distinctive style, enjoying a substantial vineyard heritage, boasting prestigious crus in the Barolo territory such as Ravera in Monforte, Boscareto, Pian Romualda, and others.
These wines are not just products; they are the embodiment of hands-on craftsmanship and passion, drawing inspiration from the timeless tradition of the Langhe.
